Our Mission
Clever Kids Homework Centre is a non-profit and public benefit organisation in Masiphumelele, welcoming around 70 children from Grade R to Grade 12 into their houses every Monday to Thursday afternoon. Every offering is free of charge, funded entirely by donations.
Their work is built on individualised homework help, learning support, and tutoring, delivered by over ten local staff members alongside professionally trained tutors and South African volunteers. Between lessons, children share a hot nutritious lunch and fruit, and families receive practical help with school uniforms, supplies, hygiene products, and health care in seasons of need.
The heart of the centre is a second home — consistent care, celebration, and community that helps break the cycle of poverty through access to quality education. Fun activities, outings, and small celebrations round out a place where children are known, cheered on, and given room to grow.
